Review: Anker Power Core II 6700

There is not much to say.  We did the analysis to find the very smallest and lightest powerbank that could easily charge a Smartphone and associated gadgets over a weekend.

We think that the

Anker Power Core II 6700

is the product for us!

Our thoughts are

+ Ultra light weight at 135 grams

+ Size is only 95 x 44 x 20 mm

+ Maximum charge output can be 2A

+ Charge input is via micro USB which is the standard these days

+ My Smartphone via USBC charged at 1 Ampere

- Does NOT support Qualcomm Quick Charge, Power Delivery, or PowerIQ 2.0 . If you need these fancier standards then you will need to buy a heavier unit. Like the Powercore II Slim 10K

+ Garmin 935 Watch charged at 0.25 Amps, translates to 1 percent per minute, thus can take it from 10% (where I panic) to 70% in just one hour off wrist, whilst in a rucksack.

+ Pressing the button shows charge level

= It obviously not waterproof, but then, what Powerbank is?

+ 19 GBP or thereabouts from Amazon UK.
Note there is an older Powercore 6700, I'd recommend the current Powercore II version instead.
