This Phishing Attack is Almost Impossible to Detect On Chrome, Firefox and Opera
I was interested to read about the Punycode phising attack that relies on your browser rendering characters of multiple languages in a URL into a reduced Wester European character set.
So I actually tried it.
As I expected the results were not as shown on thehackernews.com website
Google Chrome 60.0.3072.0 canary (64-bit) - OK
Microsoft Edge 40.15063.0.0 - OK
52.0.2 (64-bit) - Fail
Not Smug, just accurate
