Reasons to be Cheerful

Ian Dury: Reasons to be cheerful

From Wikipedia:

The Archers is the world's longest-running radio soap opera. The British radio production, which has more than 18,000 episodes, is broadcast on Radio 4, the BBC's main spoken-word channel. Originally billed as "an everyday story of country folk", it is now described as "contemporary drama in a rural setting".[4]

For what seems like an eternity, the story of Rob and Helen has been playing out on my favourite English soap opera, the Archers.

Tonight on Sunday, 11th September 2016 in an hour long special  ( a normal episode is 15 minutes),  the action focused on the behind the scenes 'discussion' of the Jury leading to the eventual verdict.

If you have any knowledge of the Archers, listen to this episode
If you care about Domestic abuse, listen to this episode
If you want to hear what can happen in a UK Jury trial, behind closed doors, listen to this episode
