This is just a short comment to say that we really try to shop in Switzerland wherever possible. Many colleagues do all their food shopping in France where prices are usually at least 20% cheaper
Oh and this is before the Euro to Swiss re-adjustment that occurred when the Swiss National Bank stopped it's rate fixing activities.
Who knows what the rate will be after the forthcoming Greek Default (coming soon to the Eurozone, most people say in June 2015)
But I digress.
Today, Saturday May 23rd
We are preparing for an epic yearly Swiss Cycle race
We visited Athleticum for some supplies
Agata sees some Salomon shoes that she already has on a /Wish List/ at our favourite UK retailer Wiggle
The thing is that in Switzerland the sale price is just 179 CHF, whereas the UK retailer will sell us identical shoes (also on sale) for 99 CHF
And if we are not fussy about the colours then an amazing 62 CHF.
So tell me would you buy Swiss to support your local Swiss retailer, and Swiss supply chain, the one that imported the shoes from Asia, just like the British one?
