Arrival Salalah

We are still reminiscing about our recent holiday Oman.  Today we teleport ourselves back to Tuesday January 4th 2012.


We leave Radison Blue and take an internal flight from Muscat to Salalah airport in the South.


Glen has organised a welcoming committee as shown above.  Makes us feel quite special!

This is the main hotel complex in the background.

Our room card had a bizarre logo on it "Walk in like you own the place", a phrase that could be considered mildly insulting in England.  Lost in translation I guess.

Marcus insisted on spending a long time trying to get our 3G Internet connection working.  Agata patient as ever waited for my obsession to pass  (no 3G despite a cell tower being visible in the distance!) and we eventually moved into our apartment.

We stayed in one of the chalets away from the main complex.

We are literally just next to both the Dive Center and also the Spa Complex.   What a location!

Next stop to the pool, and it is almost 40 metres in length. Wahoo!
